Spain is one of the best countries of the world when it comes to tourism. All kinds of people visiting Spain find it awesome in their own way. Tourist Guide to El Campello

El Campello is located at a distance of twenty six kilometers from the famous city of Benidorm and13km from the city of Alicante but this resort is comparatively much quieter than Benidrom and Alicante. However, the advantage of staying at El Campello is that you can easily travel to Benidorm and Alicante on account of less distance between the resort and these cities. El Campello is famous for its many historical places which are still present in their original form in spite of heavy tourism and the sea side of the town is also well preserved in its original form and you can also visit some of the high modern buildings in the town.

The watch tower is among the highlights of the town in El Campello which is called Torre de la vigia Illeta and this watch tower is situated in the harbor. This watch tower was built by the residents during the 16th century in order to protect the town from foreign invaders and pirates. El Campello port has two sections: One is called the marina and the other part is the fishing port. At the marina you can enjoy time in the Nautico Campello Club which contains almost four hundred berths and the fishing port is used for auctions.

Ruins of Illeta are located under the watch tower on a small peninsula and these are known to be most historical archaeological findings in the Mediterranean Sea area. Known be to more than five thousand years old, they are believed to have been established by the Iberians and later occupied by the Romans. Many unique materials like arms, crockery and building materials have been discovered here belonging to Iberian times and these have been preserved now.

The promenade called Voramar de les Escultures which is located near the Old Guard Tower is another place worth visiting in El Campello, huren spanje . The promenade is named after the famous sculptures installed here by the artist Vicente Ferrer and this promenade goes along to the Playa de la Almadraba Beach.
